Weather for outdoor weddings is unpredictable.
Especially in Colorado.
Even more so in April.
This one was beautiful.
Clare and Blake are the kind of bride and groom that are an absolute joy to work with - and we think the photographs from their wedding demonstrate how much fun these two are as well as how in love they are. Their family and friends? Super fun too.
The Tapestry House is a gorgeous old home and slice of land that has been turned into an incredible event venue that serves as the space for many weddings. Both Scotty and I have been guests at weddings here, but this was our first time working the venue as photographers and we loved every second of it.
Clare and Blake's ceremony was in the morning and followed by a rockin' brunch reception and every color and detail fit the mood and the venue perfectly. The night before their wedding, we stood out on our deck and watched as storm clouds raced through the sky, worrying what we might wake up to the following day. We did not need to worry, however, as soft spring clouds painted the sky serving as a beautiful echo of Colorado's spring at its finest.
There were live musicians, guests wrapped in blankets, stunning flowers, vows from the heart, laughter, tears, hugs all around, and a brick ceremony. It was nothing short of touching and we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with these two and their families, bridal party, and guests.
